Built on Mount Tecumseh, the resort has 11 ski lifts for downhill skiing and snowboarding, as well as mountain biking trails, hiking trails, golf courses, tennis courts, an indoor ice rink, and the ability to partake in water sports.

While the winter months attract many people to the slopes at Waterville Valley Resort and the many surrounding cross-country ski trails, the warmer weather makes way for picturesque views as you make way through the trails on Mount Osceola. The six-mile trail has moderate elevation and is heavily trafficked by hikers, bird watchers, and those seeking the picturesque views at the 4,340-foot peak. The hike is enjoyable, and the views at the top are worth every step.

The Rey Cultural Center is s nonprofit organization located within Waterville Valley that promotes arts and science programs for youth and local families. The Waterville Valley Historical Society is committed to preserving the history of the town, providing insight into the town's past. Their display can be found at the town's welcome center. Residents of Waterville Valley take pride in their community and are encouraged by the town's attraction from locals and tourists alike.
