The Wolfeboro Area Children’s Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1974. Much more than a day care, they provide an excellent educational curriculum, licensed and experienced teachers, healthy meals, a wonderful playground and all the amenities needed to encourage individuality, exploration and self-expression. Services offered include special needs, speech pathology, and occupational therapy; the Center also offers First Aid, CPR and other professional training to family caregivers. Several fundraising events are held throughout the year including a community yard sale, ski & skate sale, and a trivia tournament in the winter.
The Children’s Center is a great resource for the Wolfeboro community, allowing countless families to work knowing their children are in good hands during the day. One of the members of our team, Martha Trepanier, is a volunteer with the board of directors and her two children have benefited greatly from the services offered here. For more information, including tuition and fees, a calendar of events, and what a typical day looks like for a child in each age group visit their website here.
