This month I will be speaking at Avery's Community Workshop on Buying a First Home. They have invited me along with Karol Smith of Community Bank and David Keslar of Drew Mortgage. I will discuss important steps that should be taken, as well as give some important tips that I have learned over the past years that can save much aggravation when purchasing your first house. Including, some simple steps to strengthen you position as you enter into negotiations for your first home. David and Karol will speak about the many types of mortgages available and the resources out there that can help, including how to get a mortgage with no money down.
