Welcome to New Castle New Hampshire! New Castle was founded in 1963 and is the only town that is located entirely on and island! The town of New Castle is a part of Rockingham County and is not only the smallest town but also the easternmost in all of New Hampshire.  New Castle's total area is 2.4 square miles and out of that 1.5 square miles is water!  New Castle has a lot of to offer from beach access at the Great Island Common to walking around Fort Constitution!
