The Lakes Region area of New Hampshire is a beautiful place to live or vacation year around. Each season offers an abundance of activities from endless summer days by the lake, gorgeous fall foliage, outdoor winter sports and nights by the fire, spring hikes and maple sugaring. These are just a few of the things to do every season!
I am lucky to live in Gilford on the west side of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee and work for Dow Realty Group of Keller Williams in our Meredith office. Below are a few upcoming events that are happening on the west side of the lake. I hope you get out and enjoy this beautiful place we call home!
$10,000 Sweepstakes Dinner
April 15th @ 6:30pm - 11:00pm, Church Landing, 312 Daniel Webster Hwy. Meredith
Dinner, cocktails, a silent auction, raffles and live entertainment. One lucky winner will leave with $10,000! Each $100 ticket will admit two adults and include dinner.
Signs of Spring
April 16th @ 10:00am - 11:30am, Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, 23 Science Center Road, Holderness
Featured activities: Bird nesting materials, sucking in a bird, visit a vernal pool. Activities are both indoor and out. For Adults and Childrem 5+, $7/member child, $9/non member child.
Zentangle Tangled Garden
April 16th @ 10:30am - 2:30pm, League of NH Craftsmen, Gallery at 279 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith
Join us for a Zentangle Tangled Garden Class with Maya Hardcastle. This class will provide students time to practice techniques learned using the Zentangle method. Students will learn new patterns, "grow" their gardens together, shading and highlighting with color. $40.00
