Head to Colebrook the weekend before Labor Day to celebrate all things “moose.” This year’s festivities include live music, arts and crafts vendors, horse and wagon rides, and rumor has it there is even a moose-calling contest. There will also be a dog show, maple syrup tasting contest and the classic car show. Bring the whole family to this old-time fun event that showcases the many diverse talents and services in the North Country.
Moose Festival happenings take place over two days in TWO LOCATIONS.
DAY ONE, August 26 – STREET FAIR
Main Street, Colebrook, NH
3pm – 8pm (FREE Admission)
Enjoy live music, food vendors, arts & crafts, kids games, cruise night, artisan crafters, and more!
DAY TWO, August 27 – COUNTRY FAIR
Canaan Rec Park, Canaan, VT
10am – 3:30pm (Adults – $7, Ages 5-12 – $5, Ages 4 & under – free)
The Country Fair will have fun for the whole family, including a moose calling contest, live music, artisan crafters, horse drawn wagon rides, cow plop bingo, kids games, dog show, classic car show, maple syrup tasting contest, and more!
